What to Know About Registration
Shine Korean Class is open to all students, from those who are just learning to read hangul to those who are simply looking for a place to improve their vocabulary and conversation skills. Everyone is welcome at Shine!
Shine Korean Class has 2 sessions, Spring and Fall.

Semester schedules and sign up periods are announced in July/ August for the Fall semester
and January/ February for the Spring semester.

Current Semester
3/3- First Week to Sign Up
3/10- Second Week to Sign Up
3/17- FIRST CLASS, Orientation

Admissions Process
New Students-
New students are required to come to Shine during the sign up period and take a short placement test that will involve a written section and a speaking. But don't stress! This is just to help us find the right class for you.

Returning Students-
Returning students who passed the previous semester's exit test can automatically sign up for the next level. Students who have studied over the break and wish to move to a more advanced class can request to take the placement test.
Costs and Subsidies
Student Council Fee- Starting Spring 2018, Shine asks for all students to pay a 5,000â‚© fee each semester in order to help pay for events.

Book Fee- Students are required to buy the textbook + workbook when they start class or when they go up a level. Textbooks + Workbooks cost 25,000â‚©.
